PERGIZI PANGAN Indonesia (Food and Nutrition Society of Indonesia) is a multidisciplinary organization that addresses complex nutrition and food issues in Indonesia through a holistic and collaborative approach. Comprising experts in nutrition, medicine, food technology, sociology, and economics, the organization aims to advance scientific development and practical solutions in nutrition and food. Since 1974, PERGIZI PANGAN Indonesia has represented the country in international bodies such as the International Union of Nutritional Sciences (IUNS) and the Federation of Asian Nutrition Societies (FANS). The Community Nutrition program, Faculty of Medicine and Nutrition, IPB University, is a pioneer of higher education in nutrition science in Indonesia. Currently, the department serves undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees in nutrition science and a professional program in dietetics, with all four programs accredited as “Excellent” by the national accreditation body for higher education in health. Jurnal Gizi dan Pangan (Indonesian Journal of Nutrition and Food) has been accredited since January 2nd, 2026, by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (Decree Number 295/C/C3/KPT/2026). It uses similarity checks to prevent suspected plagiarism and ensure manuscript quality. Jurnal Gizi dan Pangan (Indonesian Journal of Nutrition and Food) has a competent board of editors specialized in nutrition and food sciences. The board consists of numerous experts from various countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, and Italy. This Journal is managed by a highly committed editorial team. Lecturers, researchers, and scientists are welcome to publish their scientific articles in this journal.
