Novel Rahuvana Tattwa digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengkaji teori intertekstual perspektif Julia Kristeva yang berupa oposisi. Terdapat dua pertentangan atau lebih yang disandingkan dalam teori oposisi. Pertentangan itu menyebabkan terjadinya perpecahan karena tidak dapat dipersatukan.
