Abstrak

participation and the preservation of nature reserves in Kampung Bupul. This research uses quantitative research with a measurement scale that is a Likert scale. The population of this study amounted to 530 people, while the sample in this study amounted to 85 people. Data analysis techniques used Pearson product-moment correlation test, t-test (significance test), and coefficient of determination test. Data processing in this study uses SPSS For Windows Version 24. The sampling technique used is Cluster Random Sampling. The results showed that there was a significant and positive relationship between the variables of community participation in the preservation of nature reserves in the healthy category with a relationship value of 0.549 or 54.9%. The T-test (significance test) conducted, showing the value of sig. Equal to 0,000 smaller than α (0.05) with a calculated value of 6.720 (more significant than t table (1.988)), then the hypothesis in this study was accepted. Furthermore, from the coefficient of determination test conducted, it is known the magnitude of the contribution or contribution of the relationship of the variable community participation to the variable conservation of nature reserves is 35.2%. The remaining 64.8% is related to other variables not examined in this study.
