Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Busy Book Dalam Meningkatkan Pengetahuan Mitigasi Bencana Banjir Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun

Abstrak

Flood disaster has always been a problem faced every year in Indonesia. Not a few casualties were caused by the flood disaster, one of which was children. Learning activities for natural disaster mitigation, especially flood disasters, must be integrated into learning programs in the education sector. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using busy book media entitled “Great Children Responding to Flood Disasters” in increasing knowledge of flood disaster mitigation in children aged 5-6 years. This research uses quantitative research with the method used is a Pre-experimental design with a population of 35 TK-B children with an age range of 5-6 years. Data collection techniques used are tests and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is using the Wilcoxon test formula analysis. The results of the effectiveness test using the Wilcoxon test show that Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an average difference between the pretest and posttest so it can be concluded that the use of busy book media Great Flood Disaster Response” is effectively used to increase children's knowledge about flood disaster preparedness mitigation for children aged 5-6 years.
