Method: This was a non-experimental study with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling, with a total of 32 respondents. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis. Result: The results showed that 11 respondents (31.4%) experienced EA. Based on age, the highest incidence occurred in children aged 1–5 years, with 7 respondents (21.9%). Based on gender, 7 male respondents (21.9%) experienced EA. Regarding the type of surgery, EA was most common in pharyngology/laryngology procedures, with 9 respondents (28.1%). All respondents received anesthesia using the balanced anesthesia technique.
