Pembelajaran Gawat Darurat Berbasis Virtual Reality Pada Mahasiswa Keperawatan

Abstrak

Introduction:  Emergency nursing is a course that requires direct experience so that students can experience emergency care in a realistic and appropriate manner. But in the academic phase, students are still limited to being able to experience emergency practice in the field. So that research on the effectiveness of the use of Virtual Reality in emergency department learning is needed to increase student interest in learning so that it can ultimately improve the quality of student outcomes regarding emergency department learning. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of Virtual Reality-based learning methods in emergency nursing learning in the S1 Nursing Program. Results: Virtual reality videos developed by researchers were given showing the effectiveness of increasing student knowledge with statistical tests showing a significance value of 0.000 less 0.005 and a mean difference of 14.96. The high effectiveness value is because the method is relatively new, so student enthusiasm is quite high. Conclusions: New learning methods and interactive virtual reality are expected to increase student interest in learning. This research is expected to be an input for the campus regarding learning using alternative methods that are more interesting and not monotonous.
