Valuasi Ekonomi Ekosistem Mangrove Di Kampung Air Mandidi Kabupaten Nabire Provinsi Papua Tengah

Abstrak

Studies on the economic value of mangrove ecosystems are very important to overcome problems that occur in managing mangrove ecosystems. An economic valuation of mangroves with justification and an appropriate scientific approach can be used to estimate the value of resources in the mangrove ecosystem. This research aims to analyze the total economic value of the mangrove ecosystem for various uses and analyze the factors that influence the community's willingness to pay for the benefits of the existence of the mangrove ecosystem in Air Mandidi Village, Nabire Regency. The research was conducted in May – July 2023. The research methods used were survey methods and interview methods. Determining the number of respondents was carried out using a purposive sampling method, namely taking samples deliberately from respondents who knew and understood the state of the mangrove ecosystem at the research location. The research results show that the Air Mandidi Village mangrove ecosystem area covering an area of ​​94.57 ha, has a total economic benefit value of IDR. 4,725,928,149/year with the largest contributor to the benefit value being the direct benefit value. The total economic benefit value can be used as a reference or basis for comparison for the community and government in determining management and utilization policies for existing mangrove forests. Partially, the factor that has a significant influence on the community's willingness to pay (WTP) for the existence of the mangrove ecosystem is the income factor. with a sig value of 0.00 < α 0.05. Meanwhile, the factors of age, education level, number of dependents and length of stay do not have a significant effect.
