Pengaruh Aspek Teknis dan Operasional Penangkapan Ikan Nike Menggunakan Tagahu di Kota Gorontalo

Abstrak

This study aims to reveal what factors are thought to have an influence on Nike fishing operations, especially in increasing the number of catches. The research was conducted in March – June 2021, added with data that had been previously collected in August 2020-February 2021, located in Gorontalo City using 25 Tagahu Fisherman Samples. The variables used in this study consisted of 2 types, namely the dependent variable (Y) namely the number of catches, and the independent variable consisted of 5 variables, namely X1: Number of crew members, X2: Length of the net, X3: In the net, X4: Length of setting and X5: Long Hauling. The analysess used were the multicollinearity test, data normality test, influence and relationship aspects of tennis, correlation test, coefficient of determination analysis, F Test, and T Test. The results showed that simultaneously, all independent variables had a strong relationship in influencing the amount of catch with the value of 0.783 (the value was in the range 0.75-1). In other words, the increasing values of the independent variables would increase the catch. The value of R2 was 0.613, which means that the independent variables (number of crew members, length of the net, in the net, length of setting, and length of hauling) affected the amount of catch by 61.30%, while the remaining 38.70% was influenced by other independent factors that werenot included in this study. In general, the resulting regression equation was Y=274.584+2.296X1+0.799X2-3.201X3-0.605X4-0.040X5. The results of the T test showed that the number of crew members, the length of setting and the length of hauling had a very significant effect on the number of catches.
