PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER (NHT) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR EKONOMI SISWA KELAS XI SMA NEGERI 5 PEKANBARU

Abstrak

The background of this study is the low level of economic learning outcomes of students in class XI of SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. The low student learning outcomes can be seen from the average score obtained by students, which was 59.40. To overcome this problem, efforts were made to improve learning outcomes by applying the cooperative learning model of the NHT (Numbered Heads Together) type.This study is classroom action research conducted in class XI of SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru, involving 40 students. The research was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings and two daily tests. The research was conducted through four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection.Based on the research data, it can be concluded that the implementation of the cooperative learning model of the NHT type can improve students' economic learning outcomes. This can be seen from the increase in the average student learning outcomes from 59.40 in the initial data to 69.60 in the first cycle, and further increasing to 75.80 in the second cycle. In addition, the number of students achieving mastery also increased. In the initial data, 17 students (42.50%) achieved mastery; in the first cycle, this increased to 25 students (62.50%); and in the second cycle, it increased to 33 students (82.50%).
