MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE DEMONSTRASI DI SD NEGERI 019 PANDAU JAYA KECAMATAN SIAK HULU

Abstrak

This research is based on the low learning result of mathematics. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes of class I.A at SD Negeri 019 Pandau Jaya, Kecamatan Siak Hulu. This research uses classroom action research (PTK) with two cycles by using the demonstration method. Based on the results of the research, the students' absorption in mathematics lessons increased significantly: pre-action replication is 62.00 (enough); in cycle I, 67.40 (enough); and in cycle II, 72.20 (enough). The mastery of individual and classical learning also increased: initial data, 13 students (52.00%) unfinished; in cycle I, 20 students (80.00%) unfinished; and in cycle II, 24 students (96.00%) complete. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the demonstration method managed to improve learning outcomes in mathematics for class I.A at SD Negeri 019 Pandau Jaya, Kecamatan Siak Hulu.
