MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR DAN KEMAMPUAN MENYELESAIKAN SOAL CERITA DENGAN PENDEKATAN STAD SISWA KELAS III SD NEGERI 005 KOTO PERAMBAHAN KECAMATAN KAMPA KABUPATEN KAMPAR

Abstrak

This research is motivated by the low learning activities and the ability to solve the story questions of class III SD Negeri 005 koto Perambahan Kecamatan Kampa Kabupaten Kampar. Therefore, researchers conducted research by applying the STAD approach in learning Mathematics. The purpose of this study was to improve learning activities and the ability to solve the story questions of class III 0SD Negeri 005 koto Perambahan Kecamatan Kampa Kabupaten Kampar. The research subjects were class III students with 20 students, 13 male students, and 7 female students. This research was conducted in two cycles and four meetings. Each cycle uses procedures for conducting research, namely planning, action, observation and assessment, and reflection. Based on the results of the study obtained data that learning activities and the ability to solve story problems have increased. Student learning activities in cycle I with a very good category of 31.25% increased to 68.75% in cycle II. For student learning outcomes in solving story problems in the first cycle also experienced an increase, namely the value of the class average 77.32 and the percentage of students who completed 60%. In the second cycle, the average grade of 85.78 and the percentage of students who completed 85%. The results of this study indicate that the use of the STAD approach can improve learning activities and the ability to solve the story questions of Grade III students of SD Negeri 005 koto Perambahan Kecamatan Kampa Kabupaten Kampar
