Penggabungan Metode Inferensi Fuzzy dengan Operator Prewitt untuk Deteksi Tepi

Abstrak

Prewitt is one of classical operator in edge detection which is simple and easy to implement but sensitives to noise. Some researches had been done to improve the classical operators performance, and Fuzzy Logic became one of approach which has been used. This is because edge detection involves the gray level of images which leads to ambiguity and vaugeness, two obstacles which usually can be solved well by Fuzzy systems. This research will discuss about the implementation of Fuzzy inference system together with the Prewitt operator to detect edges. The method used in this research are transforming the gradient of x and y which are obtained by Prewitt operator into Fuzzy Set, and using them as two input to be processed by the Fuzzy inference system. The comparison between two edge-image resulted by pure Prewitt and by Prewitt-Fuzzy will be presented in this paper.
