Perbandingan Akurasi Pengukuran Suhu dan Kelembaban Antara Sensor DHT11 dan DHT22
Abstrak
Temperature and humidity are two measurands which frequently existed in data acqusition systems. There are many sensor devices dedicated to measure them and accuracy is one of parameters used to choose the device. DHT11 and DHT22 from Aosong Electronics are DHT family sensors capable of measuring temperature and humidity simultaneously with digital outputs. Information regarding accuracy is available on the datasheet of those devices, although it does not describe the actual condition when operated on specific location or platform. This research aims to compare the accuracy of DHT11 and DHT22 in the measurement of temperature and humidity when operated either indoor or outdoor by using ATMEL AVR and Arduino platform. Based on conducted tests, DHT22 possessed better accuracy than DHT11 with relative error of temperature and humidity measurement, 4% and 18% respectively. Otherwise, DHT11 had a much wider error interval of 1 – 7% and 11 – 35%, each for temperature and humidity measurement. The differences in location and platform do not impact the results of measurement. Measurement errors in humidity that are still above 10% signify the need of recalibration. In future, besides accuracy, precision also needs to be tested through the use of standard deviation calculation on measurement results.
