PENINGKATAN KEBERSIHAN JALUR SEPEDA DESA WISATA BONJERUK MELALUI PENGOLAHAN KOTORAN TERNAK MENJADI BIOGAS DAN PUPUK ORGANIK

Abstrak

Bonjeruk tourist village is one of eleven tourist villages in Central Lombok. One of the tour packages that is becoming a mainstay is the cycling tour package through rice fields, orchards, and historical places. There are still several points on the cycling path where piles of manure are still found. This livestock manure is sourced from the surrounding community who dispose of livestock waste in the rice fields and plantation areas beside the bicycle path. The presence of livestock manure reduces the comfort of cycling tourists. To improve the cleanliness of the Bonjeruk tourist village, especially the bicycle path, training for biogas workers and biogas reactor demonstration plots was carried out as well as training for processing biogas waste into solid and liquid organic fertilizer. The activities were carried out serially starting from outreach, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), observation and verification of the location of the Biogas reactor construction, training of builders and biogas reactor demonstration plots, Biogas waste processing training, and demonstration plots on the use of biogas waste in vegetable crops. The dedication resulted in ten biogas workers who have knowledge and skills in planning and building fixedome biogas reactors. A four-cublic scale fixedome biogas reactor in the house of a Bonjeruk villager in Peresak hamlet. This biogas reactor is able to accommodate 30% of livestock manure that is dumped on the side of the bicycle path. The training of builders and demonstration plotters for the Biogas reactor building is an indirect impact of the Bonjeruk Tourism Village program. This service activity provides awareness to the Bonjeruk village community that the Tourism Village program has an impact on the wider community in general.
