PEMASANGAN INSTALASI PLTS DI PEMANDIAN SUMBERINGIN DESA WRINGINSONGO KEC. TUMPANG KAB. MALANG

Abstrak

Wringinsongo Village, one of the partner villages of the Community Service Program of the State Polytechnic of Malang, has tourism potential in the Sumberingin Bath. However, until now, the Sumberingin Bath location has no electricity, limiting its operational hours to only during the day. This also prevents the village government from organizing any activities at the location during the night due to the darkness. Therefore, the installation of a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) is needed to provide lighting and increase the functionality of the location. The objective of this activity is to install a PLTS installation in Sumberingin Bath, Wringinsongo Village, Tumpang, Malang Regency, to provide lighting during the night and increase the functionality of the location. The method used is Science and Technology Diffusion by producing a PLTS to provide lighting in the Sumberingin Bath location. This activity includes partner needs analysis, literature and field studies, PLTS installation design, material and tool collection, and equipment testing before installation. The results of this community service activity are the installation of a PLTS at the Sumberingin Bath location in Wringinsongo Village, Tumpang, Malang Regency. Its specifications include 2 built-in solar cell LED street lights @250 watts, 4 solar panels 400-watt peak (WP) @100 WP, a 500 VA inverter, a 12V 200 AH battery, and a 50 A solar charge controller. The PLTS can generate 160 watts for 12 hours of use under bright sunlight conditions and can be used for lighting during the night as well as charging 6 HP units during the day. This increases the functionality of the Sumberingin Bath and provides benefits to the surrounding community. In this community service activity, a PLTS installation has been installed to provide lighting so that the location can be used during the night.
