Estimasi Nilai Ekonomi Wana Wisata Rintisan D’Big Stone Wonosalam Menggunakan Metode Contingent Valuation (CVM)

Abstrak

Forests play a crucial role in maintaining ecosystem balance while providing ecological, social, and economic benefits for local communities. However, increasing human activities and unmanaged tourism utilization can potentially degrade environmental quality. This study was conducted in Wana Wisata Rintisan Selo Ageng “D’Big Stone Park”, located in Wonosalam Subdistrict, Jombang Regency, which functions both as a tourist area and a conservation site. The research aims to estimate the economic value of the area using the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) and to formulate sustainable management strategies. A total of 30 respondents were selected purposively through snowball sampling. Data were collected using a dichotomous choice questionnaire and analyzed using binary logistic regression with STATA. The results show that the community’s average Willingness to Pay (WTP) is IDR 13,868.53 per individual, resulting in a total economic value of IDR 122,023,423. This value reflects the community’s awareness and concern for forest conservation, even though not all benefits are directly perceived. The findings emphasize the importance of participatory management through strengthened conservation efforts, local economic empowerment, environmental education, and policy integration to maintain a balance between economic benefits and ecological sustainability.
