Determinant Tingkat Upah Di Indonesia: Wawasan Dari Survei Kehidupan Keluarga Indonesia Gelombang 5
Abstrak
This study aims to analyze the factors that influence wage levels in Indonesia using data from the Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS) Wave 5. The sample in this study consisted of 16,307 individuals taken from books K, 3A, and 3B of the Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS) Wave 5. This study identifies six variables suspected of influencing wage levels: education, age, gender, marital status, urbanization, and working hours. The data analysis technique used was linear regression using STATA 14 software. The results of the study indicate that the variables of education level, age, and working hours have a significant influence on wage levels, based on the heteroskedasticity test conducted. Meanwhile, the variables of gender and urbanization did not show a significant influence on wage levels. These findings provide important insights for labor policies and economic development planning that are more equitable, particularly in addressing wage disparities based on education and gender. It is hoped that the Indonesian public will prioritize higher education to achieve higher income levels
